The first semi-final of the international song contest was held on 9th of May. From the first group of 18 participants, the following ten countries went to the finals: Moldova, Azerbaijan, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Australia, Cyprus, Belgium.
Moldova’s SunStroke Project music band has blown-up the first semi-final of Eurovision song contest in 2017. Their energetic “Hey Mamma!” song gave a hope to Moldovian musicians to breakthrough while Eurovision 2017 finals. Three years in row Moldova was out of finals. Last time Moldovian team passed to finals was in 2013. Let us see what will happen this year!
As buzz about the event is spreading around very fast, viewers’ interest is growing dramatically. The second semi-final is on Thursday, 11th of May. Representatives of the following 18 countries will perform on stage: Serbia, Austria, Macedonia, Malta, Romania, Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, Ireland, San Marino, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Israel.
Contest finals to determine the winner among 25 music bands from different countries and will be held on Saturday, 13th of May 2017 in Kyiv.
